So this was my first time at the track EVER and the first time that the turbo ka24et ever got put to the test. On 8psi, 205 bald tires she put down a 13.8 @ 102.5. I was happy as can be! Now its time to turn the boost up to 14 and get some new tires.

Drag radials and boost....you'll be doing way better. High 13's aint so bad. You'll only get better with practice...

Oh sure, everybody gives me s*** when I say "track" instead of "strip" but no-one says anything about this one! :)

Pretty decent times tho. I hope mine will do at least that good with fresh rings and a good clutch. I can't wait to put my motor back in and get it back to the track, I mean strip.

well this is stock motor, 5 speed, 8 psi, ka24e, and bad tires... i had a 2.0 60' was the best for the day. Im running a SC54 turbo (60 trim) once i add boost i should be good to roll. I dont know about hp and tq numbers, once our shop gets some dyno numbers i will let you guys know. I was hoping for a little more mph but i think that such low boost is keeping the turbo way out of the happy zone... 6 more psi should help that!

That was on 205's... I was thinking of running some Azena (SP?) Sport 225's, has anyone run these tires and how do they do. Structure240sx good luck at the track, hope you break into the 13's... what are you running now?

If you're looking for a good street tire with great track hook-up characteristics...check out the Kumho MX.

Better than the Azenis IMO, due to similar sticky-ness, but a softer sidewall.

Went back to the track on friday, I didnt get the new tires on but I ran a 13.66 @ 106.44 still on 8psi. But this time I was pulling 2.2 60 foots (Looks like the tires are on the way out!)
