14.7545 1/4 90.8mph me

14.8205 1/4 96.4MPH V8 MUSTANG 2001

This is with a crappy small fmic and 20-50w oil change today. XTD CLUTCH 6PUCK SPRUNG. well u guys know what i got.

Felt sorry for the stang cause he had me by half a car length and i was running a semi balled falken ziex tire. I was lazy and didn't wanna put on a new tire today before i ran. I had a bad start cause i had no idea how the damn tree worked! lol. Need to watch pinks more! lol. J/k.

I'll have the video up by monday and the time slip. I didn't catch till 2nd gear. Spun all the way. still had a great time and i was soo pround of my piece of crap car but everyone seemed to like it. Mostly all the nissan guys and the soobie guys.

You have to calm down there quick launch lol. You can't mash it right off the line unless you got some slicks. Since it's your 1st time at the track not bad. But next time you go you should be able to improve on those #'s alot. And buy some BFG's or Micky T drag radials. If your going to a gun fight don't bring a knife.

i am gonna go buy a drag radial this weekend. Hit the track again. Upgrade to the larger fmic that's been in my garage waiting. I'm surprised it went that fast to begin with. With all the damn electrical probs i've had. I'll try it again this weekend.

Yeah my track ettique sucks. Had no idea wtf was going on. lol. So mid 13's huh. Hmmmm.. I'll go through the motor again and check on everything again. I'm assuming timing had alot to do with it. I haven't checked on it since i did the swap. I'm sure it's off by a few degrees.

Video will be up by monday promise. You guys can laugh all u want cause my reaction time was ugly. I went directly on the green light. whoops.

I enjoyed the hell out of it.

MAN THE XTD CLUTCH IS HEAVY AS HELL. BUT IT STICKS THAT transmission LIKE IT'S A SHOTGUN BLAST.

i used that XTD clutch with my KA and beat the **** out of it constantly. it was firm and stuck VERY hard, but it was still every-day-drivable. not much chatter unless you really tried to slip it a lot. there wasn't one time where both rear wheels didn't light up and it didn't get completely sideways (and yes, it was with an open diff.). i loved that clutch. i'll be using the same one for my RB as soon as it gets dropped in.

those times dont look right at all. hmmm. you should be trapping at atlest 100mph. something is definately not right.

EDIT: just want to elaborate a little. it doesnt matter if you had the worst reaction time in the world, the clock doesnt start until you start moving. also, even if you spun through first and second and your ET was horrible, your trap speed should still be relativeley consistant. a guy i know that used to be on this forum ran a 13.5X last year on a practically stock S2 RB25 in an S13. he trapped like 111mph IIRC. im just suprised your trap is so low.

its been a long time since i drove RWD, but as soon as my car is up and running, im planning on running a 13.XX first day out at the track. even with the horrible launches im expecting using stock shocks/eibachs and avon rubber on stock se wheels.

yea my first time ever out in my 25, with no launch, bc i simply wasnt paying attention i cut a 2.7 at a 14 flat at 104 lol then i cut a buncha 13.5's at 107-108 with street tires with 2.2-2.3 60's, now with DR's and stock boost i managed a [email protected] with a 1.87 60ft... something seems off, you shift really slow? or miss gears like crazy?

what were your mods shocker? 107-108mph sounds a bit more like it. i should get mine back from the shop within the next couple weeks. were shooting for 300 at the wheels with the parts i have. with a set of DR and a good launch, no doubt i should be in the 12's.

I ran a 13.6 with a 2.1 60ft. which was my first run with my SII RB25....only thing done was 9psi, 3'' dp, and exhuast. Had some fried 225/50/16 Nitto 555r's and that was me messing up at the end by breaking to soon....I had a 13.1 in that setup if I would have had a perfect run and my bov wouldn't have broke and been leaking all the boost out.....you should be seeing a mid 13 at worst with that setup....just keep on trying and work on the launch.

13.05 all i had was stock boost, 3 inch back, FMIC, pod filter, BFG drags... 300 at the wheels is gonna be hard unless you got a PFC or AEM.. and 14 psi.. with basically 100% duty cycle.. not worth poping your motor for a dyno #... good luck with 12's tho.

i do infact have a PFC. mr jon powell seems to think that 300 whp is realistic at 11psi. theres only 1 way to find out though i suppose. im just waiting on a Ka harness....it ships tomorrow from cali. should be smooth sailing from that point on.

now that i think of it, he does have an S14. if its a loaded Se, its a big fat pig like mine. but it shouldnt slow you down that much.
