Nice work man! Thats gotta be such a great feeling spend countless hours on a car and finally get it to perform on a dyno. The first dyno run is kinda like your proof to the world that you'v put in the hours, and now are reaping the rewards.

Get that sheet up man! We'd love to see it.

actually justin... your turbo has a .48 a/r exhaust housing. hes running a .63 which will allow for better top end performance. thats why im getting the exhaust blades clipped. it will equivalate to a .52 once done, but with the same spool as the .48.

I always found the dyno depressing...I always end up making less power then I'm looking for

On the other hand, it shows how little power it takes to make the S chassis wicked fun to drive. Once you pass the 250 barrier things only get funner.

With those injectors and the JWT ecu I would think you could run 17+ psi pretty easy. Really octane will be the only limiting factor I see. I'd crank that ***** up

It's not the amount of boost, but the amount of power the motor is having to handle. 350Whp is a safe limit IMO.

Looks like you would've made more power if you kept going till redline! Solid turbo, power starts early! How much did the turbo cost?

I think I have some piston ring problems. went to formula D and let's see...when I turn on the car the idle will roll and the vacuum gauge will flutter around -10. So when I get a new engine I'll either dyno that or blow this one to kingdom come trying to see how much it makes. Sounds like a Subaru.

oh **** whats up brian?? yes i remember you, and i still talk to ashlee every now and then. i sold my s14 two xmas ago for 10.4k

i now have a s13 coupe that i picked up for $500 and completely rebuilt the car and fired up the new motor for the first time today. i was quite happy to hear that turbo tone coming out my bee*r exhaust. should be driving thursday. i just gotta wire up all the electronics... wideband, oil and boost gauge, tt, and profec b.

your trap seems kinda low for how much power youre making. i live in avalon park and can hear the track from my house. im moving next week though to college park. maybe we can meet up sometime.

and yeah justin that sounds fine with me. itll take me a week or two to get settled into the new place and then ill come and pick yo shlt up. btw, i switched to a .63 housing and clipped the exhaust blades on the new wheel

i just cant get away from these damn kats.... btw, i rode in a stock sr powered s14 with the normal bolt ons, and holy shlt that thing was slow LOL... i was like thats it???? car was garbage though, so that could have something to do with it. ghetto as f***.

hey brian... what shop did you go to?

I dynoed at central florida turbo. my track times are from gainsville raceway !!!!!! much nicer track, they inspect your car and that keeps the junk of the track. i went twice and no 30- 60 mkin. delays because of junk cars. i probably got 12 runs in. it cost 25 to run 5 to watch. i'm not sure what to do about my trap times. I should be in the 12's with my power level. my car ran great all night. I'm glad to hear that your back in the saddle again lol. now you can put your macgiver skills to work lol ashlee has my ph. # if you need to call me .

i hate CFT... bunch of ******* over there... ive already put my skills to work im going to go get insurance on it in a few mins, and then register it. ive had the car for two months and towed it home with a truck and a rope lol. had a spun rod bearing motor in it, and it was auto. not to mention the ugle *** brown interior that i fully converted into all black and grey. i literally took this whole thing apart from the ground up, and put it back together the way a 240 should be. havent touched suspension yet though

lol I went to titan motor sports , they tied the car down did a couple of pulls but their rpm reading was messing up and that wae screwing up the tourque reading lol not to mention they didn't even have a o2 sensor to read my fuel iwanted to so they set me up with cft I told them i know i'm a small guy compared to your 7.7 sec. supra but i made an app. and drove an hour to get here you could have told me on the phone you didn't have time for me . any way where is a good dyno around here?

it drives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just drove it around my neighborhood twice. washed it and then it started to rain (go figure). anyhow, i wasnt about to drive in the rain with the shlt tires that are on the stock se rims. no telling how old they are.... i could hear them squeeling just while going straight LOL. however, i did hit a straight part in the road and eased into boost while in second. fvckin car started to step out and i was like ohhhhhh f*** lol.... havent driven a car with some balls in awhile. keep an eye out for my thread. its gonna be a very big one with LOTS of pics.

as far as dynos around here... the best ones i hear of are ones that domestic shops own. theres one on the tip of my tongue, but i cant think of it. i think its in sanford.
