Its a 1990, 140,000 miles, interior and body in great condition, no dents, no rust, and only one small tear in the driver side seat. They started it up and pulled it foward then backed it up, still couldnt tell how good it really ran but at least I know it did run(Ill find out when I get it home tomorow, and get some better pics) not to bad for $550 reguardless. Needless to say I was in a pretty good mood Saturday:)

Now I have to decide which car to put the sr20 in now, my 91, or my 90. The 91 is an automatic(I have most of the parts to switch it to a 5 speed) and has a broken timing chain so I cant really get any money for it the way it sits, making it good to put the sr20 in. In the shape that the 90 is in, I could get alot more money for it after a good cleaning and full tune up...but its also easier to put the sr20 in the 90 b/c its a 5 speed. Im leaning towards just doing what I planned on and putting the sr in the automatic and just switching it to manual but all my friends are tellin me I should put it in the 5 speed b/c it would be alot easier.

I think if I were to put the motor in the 90 then I would still have to get the gauge cluster and powersteering pump from a 91+ right? What do you guys think I should do.

And please, dont anybody say..."Its your car do what you want"....Im just asking for opinions

my honest opinion? stick it in the automatic - for the simple reason that in my life i learned, if you work a little harder, itll pay off better.

me, working in a dealership, i know (in the streets) you can get a good $1300 for the 5-speed.

as for the auto- do the engine swap, transmission swap, etc. its a WAY harder job, but in the end, you can have $700+ profit from the 5-speed, and use it on the auto vehicle.

THATS MY HONEST OPINION.

Does the link still not work, it works for me?? One of my friends told me about the auction and we just went, and I happend to see the 240 there, I didnt even plan on getting a car when I went down there actualy. Any body could go, you just have to put a $200 deposit to be able to bid on the cars
