So I was in MD last week for some VW training. While I was there I had a day off. So I decided to check out MD finest tuning shops.

First stop was at JE Import tuning in Blatimore. Pretty good sized shop. Talked with the shop owner. Super cool guy. He showed me 2 350Z's and a G that they were putting LS1/LS2 swaps in. They are using Sikky kits made in the same building they are in. The LSx motor fits SOOOOOO nice in the Z/G. If you haven't seen one yet. Google it. They are SICK!

Next stop was in Gaithersburg to AAM. Another shop of super cool guys. Got to tour their shop as well. They do in house fab, and machine work. They had 3 GTR's in different states of build.

One was basicly a body hanging on a lift. The motor, suspension and trans were all out. The motor was being built to make 800+ hp, the trans was being built to hold the power, and the suspension was being done as well.

I also got to see they prototyping up their own Twin Turbo kit for the Z/G. They are making everything in house.

So while I was there, I decided to get my car reflashed for the mods. Took about an hour. I didn't dyno tho, didn't have that kind of money on me. The car picked up HUGE power in the 2500-5000 rpm range.

All of the dyno graphs I looked at for the same year cars w/ the same mods made 22hp and 18 lbtq midrange. All the cars were around 260 whp and 245 tq. And I can tell that mine picked up at least that.

Throttle responce is instant. 3rd gear at 3k rpm mid throttle on an on ramp is almost scary. Almost.

It has been raining here for the last few days. And T/C has been my friend. Now 2nd gear roll on throttle will do nothing but spin the tires. It wouldn't do that before.

The other things the reflash did was: remove speed limiter(could care less about), raised red line to 7100, true WOT of throttle plate. Adjust Fuel and Timing curve. Elimitated the lean top end WOT that all the mods we add creates.

Zing!

I'm coming by next week before I head to SC for break and I want to experience this!
