went to a porsche track event today

went to a NCR-PCA track day at new hampshire international speedeay today. I rode with some guy in a 944 turbo. He claims he has about 350 hp. Its got racing slicks, coilovers, rollcage etc. Anyway, after we passed a few 911's and alot of 944's, 110 mph then healtoed into 3rd to pull over a G around turn one after the front stretch. fast cars rule.

Mmmmm, Porsche.... maybe one day I will have my car built to the point where I can lay the smack down on some Porsche owners. I wonder how a 350hp S13 will fare against 350hp 944s.

Track cars rule...

Honestly, I'd say a 350bhp 944 could probably be a bit faster than a 350bhp S13. The S13 would be a hair faster on the straights, but 944's can fit some MONSTER tires under their stock "widebody" fenders. Plus their front suspensions are a little better than the S13's, rears are probably close enough.
