I removed the leaking OBX shifter and installed a new B&M......OMG..........

The B&M is incredible........still a little rattle but my transmission mount needs to be replaced........(and yes its the new model)

Shifts are precise and short........I LOVE IT.......

Anyone want to buy a used OBX shifter.......cheap.....:D

Can you really tell a difference between the two? If so, what are the differences? Is it just a more direct feel, or does it actually shift shorter? I kinda thought they were all pretty much the same, so I had planned on going with a cheapy OBX, but if there is an actual difference between the two, then I'll bust for the more expensive one.

HUGE DFFERENCE................SPEND THE $$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!

The B&M is a shorter shift, and not notchy like the obx.

The feel is WORLDS better!!!

The OBX was sloppy as hell, and the B&M is VERY solid.

Plus the instuctions on the B&M are the best Ive ever seen.

My SR transmission is very happy. :)

Thanks for the info Dave. Thats good to know. Where did you get yours through? How much was it? Does it replace just the shifter, or do you get all of the spring clips and the rectangle plate that that shifter goes into also?

$200 shipped through Titanmotorsports.

Replaces plate and everything except for gasket. But my gasket was good so I did not replace it. ;)

Did you happen to price the gasket at all. When I changed my clutch, I pulled shifter loose from there too. My gasket was also alright, but when I do the shifter, I'll prob put in a new one. Neway, thanks for the info, I'll definatly go that route when I get mine.
