Went for an alignment today...didn't get one

No alignment was done, and now I have to wait for the car to get fixed...god damn, it JUST got painted.

Basically...they said that some of the boards broke that they were using to get it up onto the machine

incompetence...gotta love it

98% of lowered vehicles can't be aligned to proper specs anyways. It's useless to take it in for an alignment unless you have the right aftermarket parts on the car.

I think when the guy (hehe, probably the 'guy in the office') said 'without problems'.. he wasn't referring to getting the car up onto the alignment rack. That's a task most shops improvise once they have your money. I used to do alignments.
