I took out my stock clarion speaker out of my passenger door yesterday 1993 240sx hatch btw. I cut the wire b4 the black connector and left it there overnight. Come to put my new speaker back in today, stripped both brown wires and now there is just no sound at all just in that one side of the car. Checked the harness behind the radio and its all wired in still so wth could it be why im getting no signal just at this speaker?

Your looking for a brown and a brown/white wire. There is another brown that is a ground for the amp, so be careful which wire you grab.

the speaker wire in the door is where the signal isnt coming to. yes 1 is solid brown the other is brown with white stripe. But the wires werent touched from the day i took the speaker out to the next day where i went to put the other in.

Are the wires for the speaker (brown) and the amp that is brown under the dash together? that would b confusing...
