I caught hell from some of the posters on this board because I didn't go out to Colorado from California to force my daughter to replace the drive belts that an Infiniti dealer here in California recommended. Cost her $287 total parts and labor to replace 4 belts (are there four belts, there are only 3 on my J30T) at an Infiniti dealer in Denver. They did an inspection and said one tire needed to be replaced, and maybe the tension rod bushings.Someone mentioned some new Michelin tire that was drawing rave reviews. Anyone remember what model it was, and do they make a size to fit a 2000 Q45T, and about what do they cost?

Michelin Exalto PE2, but they are a little short in 245/45-17, and only twelve dollars cheaper than the far superior PS2 in that size.

I would go for the 245/50-17 PS AS

A little tall, but better for "all season", which is never a good snow tire and is always a compromised summer tire.

Hope they checked the pulley bearings and replaced any suspect ones. At least AC, PS or water pump won't fail catastrophically now.
