I am running a Hayden 400 transmission cooler, the same transmission cooler they run on the racing S-10's. Great transmission cooler, don't go on ebay. Been running this cooler for over a year now and everything is fine.

Dang, whats with the AUTO KA-T burst, I got so much **** for going AUto KA-T like 1.5 years ago.. Haha, nice to see more people are realizing that the auto matted to a nice turbo can do some real cool things.

Thanks GEO, I'll look into that cooler.

BTW I'm also getting tons of **** for going auto KA-T... up here in Seattle it's mad JDM SR city so a KA-T is rare and a auto KA-T is forbidden here LOL

Add another auto KA-T. I'm just waiting on a few parts, and then the project will begin.

i'm thinking about doing this to my auto too. i was wondering if you can just get any turbo kit or if there's anything special for an auto to get. i'm just worried the transmission won't be able to handle the power. i'm not planning on tons of power but at least 200 or so.

Bosrudorfer-

When you install the transmission cooler, don't leave it out in the open unless it's thermostatically controlled. Best place to put it, to keep the fluid at operating temps, is sandwiched between the condenser and radiator. This way in the cooler months the heat from the radiator and a/c system will keep your fluid from becoming molasses (depending on where you live of course). Just some FYI...

^^ I got mine right in front of the radiator and live in NJ with its harsh winters. Never had a problem.

about the plugs... I thought 7 was the stock heat range. shouldnt you go colder (6, or even 5). and Ive heard KA-T guys should stay away from iridium plugs. The standard copper works well enough. Maybe the material doesnt matter unless youre running 15+psi...
