I really wanted to consider the QR engine like so many people here but was concerned with the major reliability problems that has been seen with the engine in the past. I just loved the gas mileage on it and for a 4-banger it was pretty dang powerful. I haven't seen anyone complaining about the oil burning/consumption problem in the 07s though. Anyways, i digress, i was looking at my local dealers web site today and seen they were offering a lifetime powertrain warranty on all their new/preowned vehicles. Now i have that warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing if there are any problems that it will have a lifetime powertrain on the engine. Now im that much closer to getting the QR. You might want to check to see if any of your local dealers are offering anything like this . If your curious here is my local dealers website (it states it right on the homepage).

Sounds like a good peace of mind. But only if your dealer doesn't scam you and actually goes through with their obligation.

They can void it if you do small aftermarket mods such as removing the decals.
