like the title says, i tried to search. I am really just looking for a guide to changing the pads and rotors on my s13. It needs them bad and for some reason the web site is telling me that my ip adress is banned from the board. no clue how i posted this then. but any way. i have done a rotor and pad replacement before but to tell you the truth didnt do it right and my brakes made some god awful noises for the rest of the time i had my old car. so again a little guidance would be nice and remember i did try to search so be easy on me

Fronts: Loosen Lugs
Jack up car front and support with stands
Take off wheel and the two 14mm bolts slide off caliper with pads
Hang caliper off the suspension with a wire hanger
Take off caliper bracket and then slide off the rotor, install reverse. To compresss the piston use a C-clamp.

Rears:
Just like fronts except to compress the piston in the rear you have to twist it with pliers or the "brake block"- its a metal cube with lots of different piston types and one shape work on the 240sx.

No need to search as the button is at the top of this site, re: Service Manuals. Try downloading one from here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/240sx/ ... Just pick your year and view in PDF. Good luck, and I hope this helps a bit for you. :)

Apply on the pads so it doesn't squeek.
