Hi there,Love the forum thus far. Extremely informative. I picked up a Millennium Jade 2002 Q45. Since these cars were introduced in 2002, I always wanted one. Well, I made room in the garage and purchased one w/ the Premium Package. In fact, I think it has every single option available. How can I be sure if it does or doesn't. Don't have the window sticker. Is there a really wacky, rare option that was available that I more than likely don't have? Just curious.

Welcome, I bought an '02 Jade Q45 in Englewood FL in January.

Yours post is the first one to mention Jade since I've been following these forums. I'm beginning to wonder just how popular this color was.

Good luck with your purchase.

You can have the dealership run the VIN for starters. Does your Q45 have the the OEM GPS/Backup Camera, Climate Control Seats and Reclining Rear seat package?

Yes, I have all of those options you mentioned, however, I believe my seats are heated, not climate controlled, correct? I thought climate control seating was only available on the 05-06.

I believe the '02 had a package that offered both heating and cooling feature for the front seats. The seats were perforated if you have the cooling feature and the controls were on the sides of the seats I believe.

I'm so pissed!!!! Not because I found out I didn't have every option. Because I found out that I don't have the option that would be most imortant to me. I live down here in south Florida and I would trade My OEM NAVI, back up camera and heated seats for perforated seats that cool.

I saw a thread recently about someone inquiring about putting climate control seats in a Q that didn't originally have them. I would LOVE to do that. It doesn't sound easy I presume.

Definitely confirm if the '02 offered the cooling front seats though. You may in fact have all the options.

FYI, I do indeed have the reclining heated REAR seats and even the mud flaps

I do not think the 02' has the cooling seats. I remember seeing fully loaded one and the first time I saw that option on any car was on a LS430 that was a 05'. SO I wouldn't lose too much sleep.

How many miles and what did you pay?

89K, $8.500 ..I think it's a lot of car for that amount. Runs and drives like a dream. I had to put new tires, alignment and a tie rod end...that's it.I took a bath selling my last car (Mercedes) and vowed I would wait for the right car at a good price. Would have preferred black or blue but with used cars, can't be that picky I guess.

Cooled seats WERE NOT an option in 02

All you have to do is download the FSM (field service manual) to see that.only heated seats.

And if you understand how cars are made, you would realize that there were only 2 options. 1. SPORT 2. Premium.Manufaturer's don't do laundry lists of check off options. That would be like offering am or am/fm. Yeah 20 years ago. THe reason the don't do check off lists anymore is quality control. Same car made same way all day.Read "On a Clear Day you can see GM" Chysler was the first company to offer 36k war on an american car. I forget the model but it was a flagship 2 door. it only came w/ a sunroof and withuot. Everything was standard.
