Hey guys, I was meaning to just pull the exhaust manifold and broke the exhaust studs off. That started me about 3-4 weeks ago on this project.

I shortened my wire harness, and rerouted some of it.Swapped IntakeSwapped exhaust manifold and built a new DPSwapped to the larger chinabay intercoolerInstalled alcohol injectionTiming belt, head studsForge motorsports BOV (which works very well).Moved some other stuff around to get rid of clutterWent back to a draw through instead of blow through setup.

Here are some photos

Later guys, thanks for all the encouragement, support, and help.

I am going to swap back to a nissan TB so I can get rid of my crazy bracket for the TPS.

I have not used it yet, but it works. Thats all I know for sure LOL. I tested it to make sure it was functional. Obviously the reservoir in the front left is the alky tank. Methanol to be exact.

which kit is it? I want to run one on mine but I'm going to have a blow through setup so I'm trying to figure out how from the throttle body the nozzle has to be so I can place my maf in front of it with some distance.

Julio is the guy who all my buddies deal with, I got my kit second hand.

I would definitely not spray it before the mass air flow sensor. My nozzle is about 3" back from the throttle body.

devilsown.com makes a decent kit too from what I understand. My freinds have had great luck with the kits from Julio at alky control.

Evan

EDIT; dude, I think i misunderstood.... you can place the nozzle as close to the throttle plate as you want to.

Dose it drip at all? I would hate for it to run down the intercooler pipe and into my maf . I'll check out that link.

You are supposed to have the nozzle placed higher then the tank, to prevent siphoning. Thats why I have that big loop of SS line that goes above the reservoir. No siphoning yet.

Devils own makes a brass check valve though, to eliminate the possibility. I am going to get one.

The buick grand national guys and supra guys run alky injection alot, check out their forums (search) for better info over there.

BTW; I finished this swap 2.5 years ago or so, but went back and fixed/changed a bunch of stuff.

Does your alky kit proportionally pump more alcohol in with increased rpm or is it just set at a certain level to turn ON/OFF at a set rpm?

Its a progressive kit, and uses a 3 bar GM map sensor that I wired up seperately from my power FC to control just the alky.

The curve, turnon and ramp up speed is adjustable.

Evan

EDIT; and quantity.

Hey mines doing the same. I noticed that if you start it or just bump the starter and quickly turn it off, everything shuts down. I think something is back feeding into relay by ECU. Haven't been able to figure out yet do to working on other probs and wide body fender install.
