well i ran into a problem with my leds

so i bought some leds for the map lights. 578 from vleds

and they are the completely wrong type.

mine are more like the 194 in the door and trunk and lisence plate lights.

did anyone else have that problem or is it an issue exclusive to mine.

They shipped you the wrong bulb i think!

well the ones i got look like the ones in the pics on vleds site..... but the ones in the map lights are the ones that look like 194s.... i plugged a 194 bulb in one of them in and it worked.... so..... i guess that i have 194s for my map lights...... not 578

yep, pretty much everything is 194 type bulb..... door, map light, license plate, trunk...... the dome is 3175, and that's it

I can't even tell you how much money I've wasted on LEDs. I always buy the right bulb fit, but there is never enough space to suffice the size of the actual bulb ending.

I have a friggin bulb collection in my trunk and attic.

Ditto here man, i've bought 2 rounds of led's and since i'm in canada there's a $25 minimum purchase for them to ship it. i bought an extra dome light bulb since i thought 2 go in there, got front map lights that were too dim and bought an extra bulb for my glove compartment that I can't switch. on top of that i'm getting tired of my blue colored lights so i might end up getting a whole new set of cool white leds, these led's are killer on the wallet sometimes.

lmao. thats horrible. i just got the cheapest leds from v-leds for my interior. 4 sets for about 20 bucks shipped. i installed them and they're too dim. i think i'm just gonna trade them back and spend like 50 bucks on good leds. haha.
