AFTER ALL THE WORK I HAVE DONE, THINGS I HAVE FOUND OUT, AND PLANS I HAVE MADE THINGS ARE ALL COMING TO AN END WAY TO QUICKLY. I AM NOW HAVING PERSONAL PROBLEMS OVER THAT STUPID PROJECT CAR, I HAVE EXPENSIVE ORAL REPAIRS I NEED TO DO, ITS GETTING INCREASINGLY MORE EXPENSIVE FOR INCREASINGLY SMALLER MATTERS, AND PLAINLY I'M JUST LOSING INTREST BECAUSE I'M LOSING THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO ME. I WILL PROBABLY ALWAYS REGRET DOING THIS BUT I DUNNO IT MAY BE FOR THE BETTER. I HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION HERE SOON. ANYWAY I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW SINCE I WAS PRETTY ACTIVE HERE AND IF I START TRICKLING AWAY THIS IS WHY.

SO THOSE OF YOU THAT READ THIS AND THANKS AND THOSE OF YOU THAT JUST PASS OVER ITS EXPECTED. I'LL STILL TRY AND GIVE UP AS MUCH OF MY KNOWLEDGE AS POSSIBLE BUT I DUNNO HOW MUCH I KNOW THAT I HAVENT SHARED WITH YOU ALL YET.

Yeah I am kinda out of it. NOt for personal stuff like you. it just got kinda gay to me. To me it poses no challenge. Learning about motors and stuff doesnt excite me. After I swapped my car, I lost interest. It was pitiful. I could have used the swap money to get my engien rebuilt and had a semi reliable daily dirver. Now I am looking into a SUV (gotta stay Nissan though) and just pimp it out. BUt as far as speed...not too interested anymore.

Definetely don't lose your teeth over this. :P

Everyone gets in the hole once in a while.. especially with project cars/family/girlfriend/ etc. Hopefully you pull through ok and you can continue to keep up with your project.

Cars aren't going anywhere anytime soon.. so there's plenty of time to buy into other projects later on down the road. I dunno what your plans are, or if this information is important to you, but hopefully you keep a strong interest in your hobby.

Good luck..

Kevy8up might not have the best idea there, sometimes sacrifices are necessary on BOTH sides of the relationship. Perhaps you should not totally get out of the project, but come to an agreeable compromise with the girl that allows you to still take part in your hobby but not to the degree you have been. That way both of you come out better without loosing a great deal on either side.

If I decide to get out of this I'll be selling everything I have aquired. Thats in the $5k + range. I have a Car, 2 rb20dets, a rb25de, ka24e transmission, fuel injectors, flywheels, so on and so forth. If I get out I need to get rid of everything so That I don't constantly think about it.

Well bud... I'm sorry to see you leave. If you sell your stuff try and sell it to someone who cares for it. I sold my motor to Hybridone, and it has been awesome getting it running again and seeing his car progress!

I am actually getting back into again for myself (motor is on order). So maybe you can be as fortunate as me and it's just a "break" for you. Keep it real man, and good luck with the troubles.

sux to be you!! haha j/k, I am actually in the same boat as you are!!! Essentially to complete my swap within a reasonable time frame I have to work a lot of hours. And now that I am back school, I am really feeling the strain.... I literally go to school, work and then study 5 days a week, and then work and study on the weekends. I don't think I've gone out or eaten out in over 4 weeks now, and its killing me. Anyways... gl with whatever happens.... but remember a car is still always just a car.

HELL YES. I am about to buy an Xterra today or tomorow, get a lift kit, get some big *** tires (well not too big) and try to find a Supercharger to slap on there. Then go off roadin g in the snow. I doubt I will find one from a pull and pay..I should check if Stillen sells a kit (highly doubtful). Yeah I am out of the car thing right now too. Maybe I will come back to it later.

--McAdam you are selling cars now???? Hahahahahahahahahaha gotta do what you gotta do. I would see you more of fixing the ars...not selling em. Thats cool though..just kinda funny, but whatever makes that money...hell I would flip burgers if I had too

well, do whatever it takes I guess. I am getting my GF into nissans. gonna get her in a nice 240Z!

Spec>> I am not selling cars anymore, that did not pan out. back to pizza delivery I guess! ah, its good money and it sure as hell ain't ahrd work, lol! Also, the Xterra comes from the factory with a super charger! on the highest models only tho. might be kind of spendy. Just get a '01 (me thinks) pathfinder. It has the VQ35DE in it! and with 240hp, I am sure you'd be happy with it! (S/C xterra has like 210hp)
