I just purchased an 07 G35 Coupe! 54k miles, red with cream interior.

Car seems in good shape, only one key fob though! :frown: $250 for replacement!

Thinking about taking it to infiniti and paying for a bumper to bumper inspection to make sure everything is sweet on her. Need to get windows tinted too, texas sun sucks! even in winter!

Anyone have any special tips to suggest as a new owner of this sweet looking car?

A few questions you might be able to help me with:
*Is there anyway to adjust the seatbelt, i read there is not, but my wife is small and she says its uncomfortable.
*Can the key fobs be coded to accept seat positions and automatically adjust when car is unlocked?
*Is it possible to change the display light colors in the steering column easily? Im used to a TL Blue and find the yellow quite harsh.
*Do you recommend using Infiniti stealerships, nissan, or a certified local tech? I like to do work myself, just for extra work i was just looking to see who you use.

Im sure i will be spending a lot of time here checking on things and i appreciate your help in advance!

Hey man welcome to the CLUB! To change the lights in the cluster I believe you would have to take the whole thing out and then replace the bulbs? Somebody correct me if im wrong. It might be more trouble than its worth and the yellow will grow on you. I went from bimmer orange and the infiniti yellow was rough but it's easy to get used to. By the way, WE LOVE PICS! :poke:

Welcome to NICO

You can save some bux on the keyfob by buying one on ebay and simply having the dealership cut the key and program it. If you don't have a copy of the Owners Manual then you may want to download one to go through it as it's put together quite well and will answer a lot of questions.

Thanks, is there a difference between
http://www.autotransponder.com/2007_inf ... gent_key_2
and
http://www.autotransponder.com/2008_INF ... ligent_key

they are just different years, will that affect whether they will work? Significant price difference!!!

I also came across this, but not sure if it would work for the G35? Or do i just need to go to the dealership?
