Tried to install it saturday only to find out that my front oil seal was leaking oil...so I went and got all the tools/parts needed to do the install.

Woke up early this morning and started on the car.

Comparison of the power steering belts... slightly smaller than OEM

wow - look at the difference between the two pulleys. BIG weight difference also.

my naked engine with the pulley off

front oil seal pulled off... it was leaking a little oil there.

and finally... after everything is back in one piece!

It was a fairly painless process - took me about 15 mins to pull off the belts, another 15 to get the crank pulley off using a pulley puller and removing the front oil seal, another 30 mins to take pictures :), and about 30 mins to re-install everything. The main thing is to replace your front oil seal when you have the pulley off! My car is a 97 and the front seal was already leaking!

After it was all done, I took it for a test drive and although I couldn't really tell if the 5-8hp extra horses was there (because I had a passenger who wanted to see how the car was like), I could definitely tell the engine wants to rev more!

I'll take it down the freeway tonight and see how it goes...

very nice...i know on tt Z's a pulley set would REALLY make a difference... one guy dynoed his and it pulled 13 mores horses at the wheels!!! He said that the car reached full boost much quicker...

Okay, I had a chance to open it up on the freeway tonight and I am impressed with the pulley. It pulleys harder from 3k onward. I usually make my runs at night since I'm used to the way the car behaves in colder weather - that and I have no passengers at night :)
