well i have in my possesion a t04e airesearch turbo ,Could use your help

ok the exhaust side is 1.32 a/r and the compressor side is .60 a/r , twin scroll . Fresh rebuild Im thinking about throwing it on my sr20 and just going top mount ive tried to search many forums and cant find out much .i may change the exhaust housing to a t3 i dont know and if any one could help with how to read a compressor map (simplify it ) i would be a very happy person i have spent hours on Garrett reading and trying to under stand how the maps work .

A 1.32 AR hotside will spool at about....redline, jk. I have the same turbo but with the .81 on my KA (25% more cubes) and it didn't reach full boost till close 5k. So figure in less cubes, more AR size and you'll reach full boost by probably 6kish.

Not a good turbo unless you're going to run 20+ psi.

Thanks im probably going to have the exhaust side changed to a lower a/r making it a t3 t4 setup or im just going to sell it .

The .63AR on the hotside will make that turbo efficient right up to 500whp. A good friend of mine, and retired Mod Fiznat made 420 to the wheels at 20 psi with no cams or anything. Just boost and a tune he did himself with the AEM EMS. Personally, unless you need more then 400whp, I'd go with the .48AR for less lag.
