k so i bought my 1990 240sx in august, its 5 speed, white, its my first car, im 18 years old and it now has 210,000 miles on it, it had just under 200k when i bought it. it has the s14 seats in it and grant gt steering wheel which i kinda like it has the stock sohc but i wanna throw a dohc in it this summer. it isnt the se so i have crank windows but the previous owner had a sun roof installed, i do have column gauges for water temp and oil pressure but they are not hooked up..they came in the car and they are crap..so im not gunna waste my time hooking them up lol.

the plans: the first thing i plan doing is suspension..other then little things here and there to make it look cosmetically decent haha i know hot to take criticism so let me hear it..onto the pics,

i know there is a stupid hood scoop on my car..it was there when i bought it..it serves absolutely no purpose what so ever except getting my air filter really dirty haha

lol nice, yeah im not a big fan of it..like it sounds kinda gross but in the summer time when my had gets hot it gets kinda slippery haha and i really wanna get rid of that hurst shift knob thats on the car lol

when i bought my car, my shifter was cut for "dem short shifts." so now i have a honda shift nob that kinda just sits on top (no threading on shifter.) i guess you tend to overlook some things when you buy your first car lol. But i like your seats! Thats a good plus when getting an s13.

yeah i wanna get an ISIS short throw shifter off enjukuracing.com and my sister has a 95 pathfinder and i took the 4wd knob off of it and used that for a little while lol..it wasn't bad..i just liked the feel of it better then the hurst knob but other then little things like that i wanna get some coil overs and drop my car. but yeah a funny thing about those seats is when i bought my car i was new to the 240 game and i had no idea what i had on my plate there til someone told me about them haha

I don't know about that model, but i think grant and/or pilot steering wheels are sold at autozone and stuff.

Not a bad first car at all, and it looks to be in decent shape aside from the few cosmetic issues. One thing I am curious is about carbon fiber arming switch on the dash. Is it for a weapons system ? Just kidding. The only thing I would suggest after seeing your drivers side seat belt is to take it to the dealership and have them replaced, they have a life time warranty on them and the dealer should replace them for free since they are worn. There are a few threads on here about how to do that. Nice ride.

It really bothers me when ppl respray a s13 and tape nothing off and paint the whole car (pillars/mirrors etc)

lol yeah the switch is for the electric fan ..there was this old switch on there and it looked really stupid so i just put that one on there..and ive hears about the seat belts being under warranty but i just havnt gone to the dealership, i heard when they replace them they go like really fast lol
