well, i gave into it, today is THE day

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

couldn't take it anymore, the new Hyundai Tucson just looks so much more chic than the EX35, i gave back the Infiniti and am now happy with a new Hyundai.

The way the car sits and the luscious curves on the Tucson are just so much more appealing.

the 2.4L engine and 31MPG set up is just....so much WIN, i can't even begin to describe how comfortable the cloth seats are compared to the sticky leather seats right after badminton practice.

it was a nice run, but the Hyundai forums are way more active too.

So...you had 2 Ex35's ... wrote in your sig that you love your 2010 EX35 ... and then traded it in for a Hyundai? To each his own, I guess. You probably won't miss the Ex's extra 127HP, but, then again, you'll have an extra 15K in your wallet for your ride!

The badminton practice was the giveaway. You went a bit too far there. I'm a fan of Hyundai's, but cloth seats? That's too obvious! Funny post though, good job in fooling that one poster. lol

You got me until the badmington practice / seats sentence. I mean, Tucson in my opinion is not much of a looker, but tastes are different, and that engine is possibly the best 4cyl engine sold right now after all.

Funnily enough my worry about the leather seats was always that they will freeze/burn my butt respective of how the temperatures outside are, due to my bad experience with some terrible crappy hard/shiny leather seats on some friends old car. Little did I know how completely wrong I was until I sat in EXs. The seats are magic, I tell ya.

As a side note, I have just now noticed that new Tucons has exact same gauges as new Sonata. The look kinda busy, not sure if I like them. They also seem to copy the purplish glow from Infiniti gauges. Are they made with the same electro-luminescent technology too?

That was probably me. I live in Bay Ridge but I golf at Dyker Beach every weekend, and in-laws live in Bensonhurst. I haven't seen any other black ones in the hood, but I have seen a couple of grey ones.
