So, yeah I dropped off the forums for awhile because classes became insane to keep up with. In the mean time I had a small dissapointment from my now ex-gf, and the altima just wasn't filling that new void that had been created. So, after two months of trying to find something to take that gap, the new owner of my old 94 Z28 let me take it out for a spin.. At that point I relised what I was missing again!

So to shorten the story up.. monday the altima was sold.. tuesday I bought an 01 firebird formula with the Ls1 and 6spd

That 4 cyly just couldn't satisfy my hunger, and I coudlnt afford the V6 haha. Best part is the formula was a steal, 70k miles KBB at 12,000.. got her for 5700

I'll still be lurking because subconsciously I still love how the AC looks lol!

P.S.. could someone fix the title for me? LOL!

My last car was a LS1 2004 GT0 so I know he feeling, with a tune, intake and TB bypass 360@ the wheels, with a 100 shot it was really fun The VQ is quick but not the same, the 4 banger would feel like a go cart

Sorry to hear about your personal problems man. I know how that is. My buddy had a similar problem too. Long time g/f and they break up. well to fill the void, he buys a 07 R1. He had so much fun with that bike and his ex said to him, you know, you love that bike more than you loved me! In which my buddy replies, well if I can ride you at 180mph I wouldn't have let you go!

They're still not back together! Just as well, she was a biatch anyway

I find it funny that you guys are losing members because some of you wanted other cars and settled on the A/C.

Haha, well I didn't settle for the AC. My needs at the time didn't have me needing a vehicle to re-coupe and fill an ampty spot like I had made my old Z28 before do. Now I needed that power and RWD again haha.

Dangeris, I know all about that haha. I had a Z1000 before the break-up and Wish I woulda never sold it now. I was getting rid of the toys that I felt like I no longer needed =/... seems like ever since I got this car for myself she's been nothin but a b!$#% about everything. She even went so far as calling me at work yesterday just to yell about some bs *shrug*.

Ah well, I have that V8 therapy now lol. I must say though, while the formula would probably out-handle the altima with a few mods.. the altima felt more solid in turns *shrug* Less body roll at least.

wow bro, sounds like you are in a sticky situation. Time to man up and stop being so sad. Has it been 2 months already since the break up?

Let it go.

somewhat sticky. I've gotten over it since a new girl and the formula showed up at the same time.. go figure, just my luck lol. The part that made it worse about getting over it was we live in the same apartment... Yeah, lovely eh? that changes in january too though!

I say nay!I would have been settling if i got the altima sedan.. or lets say... a used 05 G35!

Theres a big difference btwn a 2.5 and an LS1... Im not sure how if the OP wanted an engine like that... how he wound up buying a 2.5 altima but its all over anyways and hes happy so thats all that matters.

Don't feel bad LBC. My G is has the same value after 3 years as yours does after 1

I just keep seeing "I wanna sell my A/C" threads. Could just be the demographic who buy Altimas like change.

Value by what... KBB?My car means more to me than what it says in some book... thats its value to other people.

Some things you just cant put a price on... and thats satisfaction! Some of the guys here on NICO would say what I spent on an altima is just ABSURD!

I watch a lot of classic car auctions on tv and often times i say "WHAAT?, that hunk of old metal isnt worth its weight in scrap!"

Happiness with your car isnt determined by its KBB value.. but rather the unmeasurable value it has to the owner.. and its enthusiasts. for owning whatever car tickles your fancy

Believe me, I know the feeling. I loved my I30. Lots of memories. Lots of time spent driving, sleeping, *cough*----ing in it.

But it was pushing 280k and no amount of mods were going to make it perform like my G, so I had to let her go.
