Ive been thinking alot about which engine to go with. I would love an Rb25 but damn that price. its gonna take me like 5 months to save up for it. I have been checkin up on ca18 and it looks like a pretty good engine. im thinkin i could use the difference in price money, from the Rb to the ca to Mod the ca. Im hearing i could get a decent 300+ horses out of it. this was just for a daily driver and i would prolly get a better 240 and do a RB swap later on.

but what do u guys think....I wanted to have some damn good fun wit an Rb but i was only lookin for about350 horses out of the RB also.....would the ca be a better bet since its a bit cheaper.

plus Im not sure how long my Ka is gonna last 175,xxx miles on it and its smokin alot at stops. But not when im driving....just when i stop for a bit. So the only reason i might go wit the ca is really cause i wont be able to save money long enuff for the rb :(

well anyway...give me yer opinions.

CA18 is good too. All of the swaps are good. You cant wrong with any of them in my opinion.

Like spec said:All teh swaps are good.rememebr it takes awhile for the engien to show up then installattion then soring out.

So if you do an engine that 'll take u 5 months to save up on, then wait for engine 2 months minimum ( sometimes 6 months if problems, then a decent isntallation, which cna take some time to find a decent shop)

What I am saying is tehre is always a risk of delay built in regardless if you add 5+ months of saving up, by teh time you are finally successfully swapped a long time can have passed.

Get the easier/cheaper swap.

Fred..:)

Get the RB20. It is as cheap as the CA18 but more potent.

I was very surprised when I saw how cheap the RB20 was. I saw a clip for sale for 1695. Is there anyplace I can go to see specs on the RB20?

Yea, get an RB20.

If your goal is 300-350 hp, the RB20 would be very good for you IMO.
