Holy shiznit! :O I'm glad you're okay after that fiasco. That's pretty serious since he smacked right into your driver door. Kuddos on making it out of there alive and unhurt.

dude, that f'ing blows. glad to hear youre ok. make that guy pay up like there no tomorrow. remember to complain about multiple neck and back injuries and say you need therapy because of such a traumatic event. then take all that money and buy a cheap coupe and gobs upon gobs of goodies for it. for the record though, it doesnt look thaaaaaat bad. id say its fixable. suspension, wheels, windshield, drivers side fenders, bumper, frame straightening, uuuh, roof... you could do it in an afternoon! one last thing, is that a krylon front bumper i see?

Thanks for the well wishes/condolences guys... freaking sucks! I went out to the tow lot already this afternoon and grabbed my stuff out of the trunk etc.. took a couple more pics.. It actually broke the TC rod on the pass front wheel and the rear pass LCA, etc is totally bent under. You can see daylight through the trunk where the sheetmetal was ripped off. You can kinda see he drug down the side of me from one bumper to the other.. The more I look the more I say.. daymnnn I'm suprised I'm not more injured.

R34_.. oh I'm "hurting" ya know ;) LOL.. nah I wouldn't make up stuff like that.. I'm going to the doc next week and get double checked after a few days.. Although the extra payola would be nice :)

PacMan... I'm in the midwest.. Kansas City area. I might have a line on a couple through a friend in MN.. he's got one that needs a title but its clean, etc and a coupe/5spd for $300 :) I wonder how hard it is to get a lost/new title in MN.. especially if your out of state..

Justinmc, if at all possible I need to talk to you about parts from that car. I need an interior in a BAD way. ca18det_boy and 240sx2nr can back me up on it. If the interiors in good shape and it has no options (manual windows, mirrors, ect.) I'd be on it like crazy. Thanks!

wow. that car got pretty rocked then. i understand that if a car is over 10 years old you can register it with a bill of sale. not sure about the exact details of it, but if its an s13, youll only need the bill of sale. otherwise you can go to the courthouse and apply for one or something. if its an older car, a bill of sale will just about do everything for you. anyway, good lyck, hope everything turn out alright.

I'm heartless and selfish. Plus I'm half deaf from no interior and a bad exhaust mani gasket...

I don't want to hear you gripe about it, I've told you how many times that I'd hook you up! All you have to do is get off your butt and do the work. Also, don't give me any BS about it being cold......LOL

You guys crack me up :)... lol I dunnno the ins. co asked if I wanted/or was interested in getting the car back. At this point I'm pretty well saying NO. I have no use for any of it. The interior is ok.. except you'd have a ***** of a time getting the carpet out (due to the driver seat being totally smashed in place) and the driver seat, dash and driver door panel are all ruined..

I dunno if enough people want parts I might consider it.. but its still a hassle. I've rebuilt wrecks before and bought salvage for parts cars... and I kinda hate to have another one laying around right now.

Justin

PS would you guys agree that coupes have a higher value than a hatch? I can't seem to find a coupe to save my life... closest one to me via autotrader is 400 miles.. all the forums are either ones w/ SR swaps already or they want $5000 for them. hehe.. guess I can just use that to argue up the price with the insurance company!

Aaron - dude, I'm a pansy when it comes to the cold. I hate it. And I don't see the sense in replacing the turbo and exhaust mani gaskets when I'm going to have to take them back off when I rebuild the motor. So loud and proud I'll be!!!

Justinmn - Don't worry about it. one of the things I needed was the drivers side door panel. I didn't even think about it. Oh well, the search continues....
