I'm trying to learn how to weld, What would be a good starting machine? I'm also in the middle of an SR swap and I would like to weld my own intercooler pipes so I would like to get a machine that could do that without spending thousands of dollars. I know welding aluminum is hard but i don't care I'm good with my hands (so my girl says) but really just some info from you welder guys or girls. Thanks

uh huh. welding aluminum is beyond the scope of the beginning welder. you're not going to find a good "starter" machine that can do tig. I do not recommend it. Those welders are expensive and difficult to learn to use if you do not have experience with welding.
