welding cost + flang for cat converter?

stuipd stupid mechanice that changed my cat.. they weleded the stock exhaust to the end of it. Now i can't install my invidia exhaust =[ Ok, should i go back there and have them do the welding and welding of the flang(its called a flange right?) or should i goto a muffler shop and have them do it? i might bring in the midpipe just to 'measure' where they should put the flang. how much would this cost me?

You should've went to Golden Auto Service. They're the best and cheapest in town. I recently had my own exhaust installed over there about a week ago. My total was $95 for my own exhaust, new 3" pipe, and installation. They only charge $45 for the exhaust installation so they're pretty cheap. Installation takes about 10-15 mins on a busy day.

but then i have my own cat back and planning on installing it myself just for the short lived experience. Do they do welding? Is it that place thats close to the shell and 711? what car you drive btw..color..and year blah.. heh first time seeing someone from dc.

They do just about anything related to tires, wheels, brakes, clutch, and exhaust. Just give em a call to see how much. They're in mission st. Right accross BofA and Wendy's.
