doing an SR swap very soon and i have some generic 2.5" aluminum piping (with some 90deg mandrel bends) which i need to put together. i do not have a welder and do not know how to weld aluminum! so i was thinking i could just put all the pieces together temporarily and then bring it to a shop to get welded...

OR what about this "Durafix" stuff?? (www.durafix.com) it's pretty cheap and would be nice to be able to do all the piping myself... seems promising, think it would work? if not, what do you think would be my best option for putting the piping together?

Try some hoses to get the pipes to stay together. Welding aluminum, start calling around for a shop with a TIG welder.

yep, welding aluminum isnt easy and requires a TIG welder, which is fairly expensive.

hoses and good hose clamps will hold the pipes just fine, just make sure everything is secure before you drive it too hard.
