Hey all im new to nico *well I've always looked at the site and had a profile till I forgot the info, just been too lazy to make a profile till today lol* you can find out more about myself in my short bio I wrote. I dont know if this is the right place for this post and if it isnt im sry. I will gladly move it to its proper place if directed. Now down to the main reason for this post. I live in NY this is my second s13 out the 1st one was in a hit and run accedent. I am 18 and I do nothing but school and work, and save my cash. I recently purchased a pretty clean 93 hatch from PA the car was on cut springs for a while which sucked but oem suspension was placed on it the day befor I came too get the car. I was informed that the cars strut towers were rusted pretty badly and some how hit broke from hitting a pot hole too hard. the strut towers were re welded but when as i look into it more the weld was a poor job very weak. I know pix will help but they will be posted soon my girl has my cam. i only get paid 7:50 an hour with earning maybe 30 hours a week do the math and everything with state taxes bairly making 200 a week. But I am determind to get my baby fixed and well and I am willing to save how ever much i have to save to get it done correct. This car will be put on the track for events aswell as daily driven. If anyone on here had the same problem and/or can help me out in any way I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again guys.

Joe

Wall of text. I refuse to read that until you can break it up into legible paragraphs

He bought an S13.

There was alot of rust on the strut towers.

A pot hole was hit and the strut tower broke.

It was welded back up.

The welds look weak and he wants it fixed.

He is asking how much it would cost to have it fixed correctly.

...I think.

lol yea sry guys i put a bunch of bs before the actual point of the thread. but basically yea, the prev owner went over a pot hole with rusted strut towers the towers "broke" they were rewelded and the weld job was poor. I am scared to slide it or attend any events until those towers are re done and can withstand the stresses of drifting/ performance driving. im looking for advice/ reputable shops that would be able to do the job. pictures will be posted soon. sry about that poor job of explaining guys. tanks krayzie94 you had a good idea lol.
