Welded rear end for mountain runs?

i would never run a welded diff. maybe for a 1/4 mile where you dont have to turn.

I wouldn't run a welded diff either, too much understeer unless your back end is out and you're turning the car with the throttle. Ideally, you would get an s15 Helical LSD and output shafts and swap out ring gears with your stock open diff and put that back in your pumpkin...thats the setup im aiming for, albeit a bit pricey.

mountian racing is dangerous and stupid. this is the road racing/autocross forum for people who actually take this seriously and drive on a track.
