So ive been rocking the welded diff on my S13 for close to a year now and my drift car is also my one and only daily driver.. but anyways, ive been driving it on the street and dealing with it.. as time went on, the HEAVY vibrations of turning below 15 mph had been getting worse.. it feels like the diff is shaking like mad and everything back there is just coming loose so a point of when i step on the clutch over 3000 revs the rear bangs hard and its only getting worse.. i have welded the torque motor mount and the other one is refreshed and i have a nismo transmission mount..

please help.. drift season is ALMOST here

Or be a man and get a diff that locks? BTW, S15s came with Helicals.

We have a discussion thread on welded diffs. Any questions/concerns you might have will be there.

I've welded my diff and never looked back.

I don't have a welded differential, but I do have bad rear sub-frame bushings. and have had some of the same issues you've described like clunking when getting on the gas or breaks a little heavy. I have a new set of Stance aluminum bushings on the way to fix that, here's a link since it might be what you need too.

Cheers.
