I was wondering if anyone has or has heard of anyone welding there diff on a Z thinking about getting 2 way but wanna see if anyones done this??

Thats something your mostly likely to hear in the 240sx forum.

Your better off getting a 2-way diff, I don't think you would like the concept of going through tires more than underwear.

I welded the diff in my Z31T, it's a track only car, it's a PITA to park and it pushes on the corners, I wouldn't recomend it for a street driven car

Sidebar - the Tomei 2 way Technical Trax diff is very aggressive (feel almost welded sometimes), and very loud...despite what the company literature says.

It rocks on track, but if you drive the Z street as I do, you'll regret spending 3 hours putting it in only to have what seems to be a poltergeist inhabbiting the back of your car.

If you have a VLSD, be happy..or get the NISMO LSD...at least those are bearable!
