i was considering welding my diff on my car but dont know if there is any negs about doing this any insight would really help

Search around some, there are tons of threads about weldys.

If you do go weldy plan on making friends with a tire shop employee, and always be ready to counter steer.

Run a search (top right corner, or big gray/red flashing button on the top) on 'Welded Diff'. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
