Are you asking about buying a aftermarket rear end or do you want to weld your diff? That or you are asking which one is better? You can't do both! lol I would honestly get a kaaz 2 way If I had the money but... If you want to do it cheap, go buy a J30 rearend. That or I would Buy a silvia rearend from japan. I may have read what your saying wrong...If you want a Kaaz 2 way at a cheap price I would honestly go to ebay.

c'mon man... i know your a n00b, no offense, but are you new to the internet as well?

step 1: go on the address bar up top, its under the buttons that say "back," "forward," and "stop." this is where you enter your web address (i.e. nicoclub.com)

step 2: in the address bar, type in "yahoo.com" then press enter.

step 3: where it says search, on the right of it is a blank space where you can type in keywords, type in "kaaz 2 way." then press enter.

everything else will unfold in front of your keyboard

for the welded diff... this one is similar, but a little bit easier

up top, theres a search button (not where the address bar is, but in this actual website).

click on the search button, its the flashing red on that says SEARCH.

when it promps you to the next page, search "welded diff" or "weld diff." play around with the entered keywords until you find a good thread.

then read all the threads that are listed. that should give you a good amount of info.

what are you planning on doing to you car, like event wise? j30 vlsd is a pretty common swap, and you can pick them up for cheap at the junk yards, but if your planning on drifting, it will only satisfy your habbit for awhile till you weld you diff or get a clutch type. if you wanna go the cheap route, just do a weld... its really not as bad as people say, just kinda noisy on turns... just becareful in the rain

imo.. you should save up, its well worth it. you're not drifting 24/7, and you'll save your tires as a daily driver. i'm saving for a 2 way as well... i cant afford to ruin daily driver tires.

if theyre done right, no jerking or whatever. you'll see a lot of drag people with welded diffs. theyre pretty noisy in parking lots when you trying to park. other than that, theyre pretty fun, and they get the drift done.

My 240 has a welded diff, and it's also my daily driver. The noise and tire wear really aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

You'll understeer if you turn too much. With the welded diff you have to get used to the fact that you don't have to turn as much to get sideways. I had to get used to it when going from an open diff to a welded one, but now I love it.

sadly my welded diff blew on me. i used an flux welder and the pentration sucked. only lasted for about 1 month. but why it lasted it was fun. one more paycheck and im picking up Kaaz 2way.

i had no issues in the rain with my diff. u lose traction only when u want to. understeering was a ***** at times at high rates of speed entering onramps lol.

Some people's welded diffs fall apart the first time they drive it, but when they're done correctly, they will last pretty much forever. You just have to get it welded by someone reputable who has done it before.Have this guy do it:http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=103145

keep in mind welded diffs are at 100% lock while clutch type lsd (kaaz, cusco, tomei, nismo, ats etc) are adjustable... i know alot of guys that have welded diffs and there holding up just fine, but cant adjust lock rate.
