Thanks! Nope, not late! Happened yesterday evening/night sometime!

I am gonna try to be there (I am very sure I can, but don't want to say "Absolutely" and have something come up!)

Usually weekend meets are not something I can attend easily - family time prevails - but, my wife and son are away visiting grandparents for a few weeks, so I am available that day!

Glad I found this site.

Hello folks, recently leased a 2006 M45 (Dec 20th) and am very happy. Came out of a decked out 2002 GS430 and almost obtained a new one but the power and performance of the M45 won me over. Not to mention some of the added technology bonuses.

Mine is Diamond Graphite with the Journey, Tech, and Aero kit.

Already found some links for some performance mods that I would like to do. Although having a hard time finding exhaust upgrades.

Anyway, take care and talk to you soon.Ed M.Ft Lauderdale, FL

Drove Dads M and I love it,,,,, cant seem too find many things wrong with it. The agility and handling are astounding for a car of such largeness. Only 2 problems lack of window tint and we had to fix the fuel tank, it is a double tank and only one side was using fuel.... Thats a brief review. BTW Blue M35 w/ Journey no mods yet. tint to come soon.

Hi...new here. Just leased a 2007 M35 with the Journey package a few months ago. Loving it so far, much more than my BMW X3.

Looking forward to searching the boards!!

Hello Gents!

I test drove a Mecredes C32 AMG, BMW M3, Infiniti G35, Lexus GS430 and the INfiniti M45 when I decided to buy myself a "first real job" present after grad school.

Both the C32 and M3 were faster and more responsive than the M45, but neither had the interior room I was looking for (just had my first daughter and needed car seat room). The GS430 felt like an old man car and was geared more for fuel economy than performance. Then I drove the M45 and WOW. What a great combination of performance, size, styling and features.

I have never thought about another car since.

I have had many a youngster (I am only 32 myself) in their souped up (which means a big tailpipe and a cold air intake) VW's, CHevy's, Mitsibishi's and others get dusted by just a portion of the 340 hp in this car.

I even had a guy in an Audi TT try to race me on the highway and I never looked back after beating him.

My only complaint for the car is that it doesn't like synthetic oil (tried different weights and brands). Each time it would use about 1 qt for 1500 miles. So I switched back to conventional 5w-30 oil and it barely uses any now.

I live in a town of 6000 and none of the people in the town have ever seen an M45 before. In fact, I have not seen another 2003-2004 M45 on the road since I bought mine.

I love this Car!

Welcome to NICO!

I prefer synthetic, but if the dino 5W-30 is working well for you, excellent! (I would recommend a oil and filter change interval of 3750 miles maximum, and you will be perfectly fine). It is far more important to be regular about the change than to worry about the type of oil!

HELLO I'm new here and i wanted to say whats up so WHATS UP.I just went broke and bought a 2008 Infiniti M35x fully loaded except for the Premium pkg which i felt was way too much money considering what u are getting. I love this car and test drove my first love the Lexus whic was sad in comparison to the M but it totally destroyed the M when it came to the sound system . The MArk Levison system is sick . Its the clearest most acoustic sounding system i ever heard (including Audi, BMW and Acura) except for my old Polk Audio SR Speakers. BY the By any1 know what size speakers i have bcause baby im ripping these things out and polking my car out. Thanks in advance.

HI ALL!!!

Information overload, love the site!

New Infiniti owner! I bought myself a 2006 M45, fully loaded except the rear DVD/power heated rear seat luxury package...way over priced. Loving the car...2 days later! Just getting started...gonna take awhile to fully assimilate myself into the system...have a lot to learn!

One of the first modifications will be the enabling the DVD playback while driving...I don't think putting the parking brake partially down as the dealer suggested is the best option. Freeman's Car Stereo offered to bypass for $100...hmmm...I am not a handy DIY guy, so I don't have much of a choice.

My other vehicle would have been a QX56, but the financing didn't work out this time around, so I am still driving an 07 Chrysler Aspen Limited.

Looking forward to participating...take care all!

Hello everyone

My family just got an 06' M35x loaded with the premium package 34K miles for $27,500 + tax and title. I think we got a pretty good deal.

I only have four gripes with the vehicle:1. Transmission should have more speeds.2. The doors should lock automatically when the driver reaches a certain speed or the vehicle is put into drive.3. No touch screen (this seems to be added in 08 model).4. No rain sensing wipers (this also seems to be added in the 08 model).

Overall though, I am very happy with our decision after we ruled out its common competitors.

I'll be checking in frequently and will post pictures in the picture thread soon.

For normal driving conditions around town, I find that not having too many high gears prevents "hunting" as the car goes in and out of the top gears when you stop and go. On highways, it can impeove mileage, of course.

This is one that I actually like having this way. I'd rather do the door lock (and some other things like auto-dim mirrors) myself rather than have the car try to read my mind - it never picks the right time or condition as far as I am concerned.

But, I can see why people want it.

Hello all you fellow Nissan/Infinit guys/gals! Awesome crowd here!

Well I would like to announce that I am now with Gloria(Y34). My other two were Silvias(S13, S14). Well, I can't seem to take off this grin that's plastered on my face stil. A lot of people out there on the roads are shocked and surprised when I easily pull ahead with little effort. The M45 is the word 'sleeper' defined...well at least 1st gen. M45's go. Anyways, I'm looking forward to sharing many great things here! Talk to u again soon.

Oh, here's a picture of her right before I drove it home from the dealer:
