Welcome to NICOclub's Miata forum!

Since so many NICOclub staffers and members own a Miata, here's a spot to discuss the car Nissan wishes it had built!

Nearly a quarter of the staff here either own or have owned a Mazda Miata... In fact, I own the site and I drive one every day.

SO, rather than mess around with the other, corporately-owned Miata sites out there, we decided to 'keep it in the family,' so to speak.

Feel free to post up your mods, your how-tos, and if necessary, links to good resources as you run across them. Welcome!

Great idea Greg. As you now, we are now Miata owners again. Great cars!

I'll be checking in....

Awesome!

FOlks, meet Dale - He not only has a spectacular collection of pristine classic Datsuns, he's also pretty darn knowledgable about Nissan construction and design. :)

Hey Thanks James! Since I sold my 2000 Miata, I have been missing it. We've never had a "low" mileage Miata, so we decided to go new. I'm liking it so far.

Hope things are going well for you.

Dale

Thanks!
I'm digging the new job. I do a lot more actual Engineering work now.

Just throwing this out there for you guys:

The August issue Hemming's Sports and Exotic Car has a great article on the Miata's development history. Some really cool prototype and development photos--including some magnificently 1980s-looking wheels.

Think we oughta scan that one for the non-subscribers. It's a fantastic article!

Jesda gave me a coffee table book about the history of the Miata too. It was semi-interesting.

I might have lost it in the move though.
