Just registered. I started researching the 2008 Altima Coupe last week as a possible upgrade from my 2002 RSX. I'm convinced I'll be buying one in the first shipment, fully loaded. This car is going to fit my needs perfectly. All the features and no need to pay out the *** for an infiniti or deal with RWD in the MN winter.

Hey, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Eric, and I am a recovering Subaru Impreza owner. Just traded it in for a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5SL. So, I am moving over here from NASIOC.com. I have two growing boys, and the Impreza was getting to be too small for them. The Altima was the first car I drove that met all our requirements: enough room for the family, and fun as hell to drive!

My first request: does anyone know where I can find some pictures of 2005 Altimas, black on black, with tinted windows? Something high resolution. My car came untinted, but I think a nice medium tint will look superb on this car. Thanks!

What does your owner's manual recommend for a fuel grade? I would use whatever the manufacturer recommends.

Hi everyone just want to introduce myself. I've always been a Nissan fan but not an Altima fan till now. The new Altima coupe is looking good. I hope it lives up to the hype. I've been 300ZX and 300Z twin turbo owner. I was looking to buy a new car and I had my mind set on the Mazdaspeed 3 but it was till yesterday I stumbled upon the new Altima Coupe. I was like niiiiice! Now I'm just gonna have to wait for further reviews and test drive. Anyway great forum!Sam

I just traded my 1995 eclipse gs-t for the altima and all I can say is I am happy to be back in a nissan. Used to have a classic 91 se-r with 186 all motor whp, and we will see what I can do with my new baby.

badhabits, new to this forum and up in Prescott, will be ordering a coupe for my wife,as the jeep srt8 is much to hot for her. my question is can you recommend a dealer down your way that you think is good, mine up here thinks we are on an island and they rule.

I think that you will find your gas mileage will drop. it will require more fuel do give you power. Therefore You will find you are filling up the tank more often. If the manufacturer recomends high test , I would only use it If the car has a 10 plus compression ratio it is another good reason.

As far as nissan dealers in the valley, or any dealers for that matter, I have been very pleased with the auto group in avondale. That is who I dealt with for parts for the eclipse even though it was farther than some others. Customer service goes a long way with me. BTW sorry it took so long to respond work too much to get on the net much.
