How we made it this far without a home for our Quest-drivers is beyond me, but here we are!

We'll be keeping an extra-close eye on this area to help out with any questions you may have, and looking forward to seeing some of the newer-generation Quests being modded for performance and style!

Don't forgot the older models! They're equipped with the VG30E and VG33E (33E from 1999-2002), which are one of Nissan's more under rated engines. They are very overbuilt from the factory meaning they can handle a lot of abuse in stock form. Modified... well... 500+ hp out of a minivan anyone (or more if you wanted to)?

The VG33E is even better in the sense that they can handle a pretty extreme overbore. Looking for some extra pep but don't want to go with boost? They can be bored to nearly 3.8 liters and still retain a safe thickness for the cylinder walls. Get some wild cams and some head work and you'll have a normally aspirated minivan that can move... turbocharge that and you'll have a minivan that can put some hurt on some decent sports cars.

If I ever get a minivan the Quest equipped with a VG will definitely be my choice... you can definitely bet that I'll be turbocharging mine and going out to embarrass some sports cars.

Ok, ok... enough with the crazy performance talk. I can also help out with any issues you may be having with your VG.

not only is the vg30 a great engine to begin with, but when Ford(blasphemous i know) stepped in to help with the design of the original quest, they made it mandatory for nissan to design a non interference version of the vg30, which the quest and villager gained access to.....so not only do you have the stellar performance and durability of the 3.0 but if you snap the belt....no harm done....its a beautiful thing

I LOVE my 2000 Nissan Quest! I wish they would make the same simple style in a new model, just b/c mine is starting to look beat-up.

But, it runs GREAT. 155k mi and it's paid off, so gotta love that. I refuse to buy some bubble-looking vehicle, and that's all I see anymore.

Hey All! Just settled on an 04 quest tonight. I'm picking up from Ciocca Honda tomorrow night (prob w the check engine light). It's a bit over 7grand and 128k miles. I talked up to a 1year powertrain warranty (from 3mo/3k) and a 3k warranty for what ever may cause the code. It was either between the Quest and a Honda Odessey. I was concerned about all the oddy's power junk breaking so the Quest won...styling is freakin COOL ;-p My darling dearest is still in shock that we are buying a minivan but I'm warming up to the idea. Looking fwd to what looks like an interesting group of ppl from my 5 min of stalking...
Cheers!

Hi! I'm new here but have been a long time member from Nissanclub.com

We just bought 2012 Nissan Quest SV last March 2012. I would like to request the service manual for the Quest.

Thanks,

We won't hold that against you. It'll be like going from a Little Tykes pedal car to a GT-R. :)

We'll have the '12 Quest FSM available early next week, so stay tuned. :)

Congrats on the new ride... the '12 Quest is a sweet van. We reviewed it back in '11 and loved it.

Thank you AZhitman. We didn't even looked at the other minivans. I told my wife if she insists on buying a minivan, it's the Quest or nothing. We're happy with the performance of the V6/CVT combo and the quality interior.

Looking forward to contributing on this forum.

Heya Guys!

I just got 2007 Nissan Quest SE! Actually its my Mom's gift...
Its FULLY LOADED (except NAVI) Smoke with Chili Leather. What a ride!

I've been hunting for it for about few months until I finally found it listed with Private Seller. I gonna be a Second Owner. Car has 60k. It was serviced only at Nissan's. It looks like its never been driven before.

This is my 5th Nissan. All previous 4 were 240sx.
That's where my username came from...

Salute!

Hi guys! exactly week ago today I purchased my 2004 Quest SE 3.5, on 8/31/13

I had a 1999 SE that took one for the team  , and my mechanic (and quest lover too)
is going to use it for spares for his 2002 Quest, also SE. I wanted nothing else but a later Quest, and found it as i was riding the bus home that friday nite, as it stopped dead in front of
the Quest, as it was sitting on the dealership lot. as if the bus driver knew i wanted one!
I went back the next day (saturday 8/31) and bought it. the previous owner had thrown
the option book at it! and in beautiful "green tea" color. hence my tag!

the only problem I've got is that i cant get to the license plate bulbs! :wtf2:
so please, HELP!

Hello all! Seems like I FINALLY found a forum for our Villager that is worth joining!

We've got a 95 Villager we bought in 01 that is still going strong-ish. That's the reason I searched for a forum again, but that's a post for a different thread. I've been wrenching on cars for what seems like forever, did brakes and alignments for a short while, there's not a lot I've not done to a vehicle. I'm a global mod on a board dedicated to another make of van, so I've seen some of what has to happen behind the scenes on a forum too. I'm looking forward to looking around here and hopefully learning a bit more about our Villager (or is it a Quest with an identity crisis?). Either way, I'm glad to have found another good forum!

Hi, Just joined. 2000 Quest Gots Leather Everything. Loving it. This freezing cold took my starter to task. Got a new one today. Not getting the best mileage. I have the original window sticker even. Ive driven brand new vehicles that arent as well put together. My kids love the VCR. would love to swap that area out with some kind of android unit. And an android unit for the stereo too. Would love to beef up the suspension and put some light truck rims and tires on it.
