I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, when i drive and shift between gears it sometimes doesn't go in and grinds, i thought maybe i wasn't putting the clutch far enough in, but then sometimes from a complete stop i will put it in reverse and the lights come on but when i let off the clutch and give it gas, my engine just revs, even with the clutch all the way out and i try pushing up more to make sure im in gear so i put it in nuetral and back to reverse and it works fine, then it happens from a stop to first too, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

just thought about it, could i maybe be low on fluid?

As for the reverse problem - every stick shift that I have ever owned did this sometimes. The manual for my Mazda Protege said to engage the clutch twice prior to putting it in reverse and this always stopped the problem. I think because reverse is the lowest gear, sometimes you just need to double clutch it to make it go in. As for the grinding when shifting through your normal gears - this is usually an indication of some sort of problem, but not always. Could be a bad throw-out bearing, or it could mean that you're just too far off from the ideal RPM's when you're attempting to shift. Either way, try the double clutching thing and see if this fixes your problem. If not, I'd get that puppy over to the dealership while it's under warranty so they can look at it.
