i'm getting a wierd niose that i think is coming from the cams side. I'm thinking its the timing belt rubbing against the timing cover? Because when i put the timing belt, the belt wasnt completely over the cam gears. My friend told me that its ok because the timing belt will straighten back when i drive it. DO you guys think this is causing a problem? I guess the best way is to take it out.

How much tension did you put on the belt? It's not sopposed to have to much tension or it's going to be noisy. (yah I didn't listen to your sound clip)

dude don't run that motor anymore. your timing belt is binding against something and will break if you keep running it like that. I bet its already frayed and damaged... pull the cover off and check it out.

check if its evenly riding on the middle of the cam gears. if not, your probably missing the timing plate either infront or behind the crank sprocket

there should be a skinny plate, circle shape just a little bigger than crank spocket both in front and behind the crank sprocket to keep the belt aligned. the rear one is most likely there unless you removed the sprocket, but the front one is easy to lose. it can be seen in the fsm and ran me ~$4 from nissan.
