weird...what is it???

My alarm doesn't work on my car this morning so i manually open the doors and when i put my key in the ignition to start my car nothing happens at all. When i turned the key none of my dash lights even came on(oil,engine, seatbelt etc). My first thought was my battery is too low or almost dead but my headlights, signals and inside lights cut on....has anyone every experienced this at all???? Any suggestions would be good Thanks

check the fuses and wires

Thanks .It was a blown ignition fuse
