Hey Guys,

So here's the downlow.

I had a set of tires which wore out, so I got new ones...I had the Fortera TripleTred by GoodYear, and then was suggested the Wrangler Silentarmor. That was a bad choice...the noise was unbearable.

I went back to Fortera TripleTred, and i've balanced the tires so many times I'st lost count. I have replaced 1 bent rim as well.

So I'm not sure if my memory is playing tricks with me, but on the highway now...it just doesn't seem "as smooth" as it was..

Explanation: On the 401 highway, I'm doing 120, 130km/hr, and I can feel the slightest of vibration on my feet and legs. Just hair-raising...but nothing severe. The tires have been roadforced and balanced many many times...

I know i'm being annoying...but I really remember it being silky smooth before...it's driving me nuts.

Yes, i'm like obsessive...

Does anyone else feel this? By turning off OD, it makes it better b/c the torque converter is not being locked, but it's still there...gak. Any ideas people?

ive heard that the forteras are kind of high maintainence, its a heavy tire therefore very apt to not staying balanced. when you say you had them balanced multiple times, how out of balance were they each time? if they wont stay balanced within reason, then take them back.

They were only out by no more than 0.5 of an ounce. Do you think that's it?

as much as you dont wanna hear it, id suggest going back and having them mount a different set of tires again, not another set of forteras but try a set of michelins or something. if it was smooth before the tire change, then first suspect is the new tires.
