Hey all, 1st time poster. anyway , on my SR, when i get out of VAC and into boost, the car seems like it is laborored and accelerates, but not as fast as it should be. (or so it seems) the revs do not seem to build as quickly when the car is under boost.

And when i begin to lift off the throttle, (throttle still depressed slightly, in VAC not boost) the revs begin to climb at a more accelerated rate then while in boost. My profec spec 2 says a good steady boost and my greddy gauge says a good steady boost too.

I had the same problem, and it was a vacuum leak. The gasket between my compressor inlet elbow and the compressor had worn through with time and was allowing non-metered air into the system. It would happen the same way as you describe, the car would drive fine in vac but the second i went above atmospheric, the car would lose all power even though I built decent boost.

So I'd say it's either a vac or boost leak.

i boost leak tested the intercooler piping and it held to 1.5Bar. How would i test the compressor for leaks?

Also, i can rev it in neutral and if i rev it pretty high (i think over 5K) jabbing the throttle, it will get out of vacume and the boost gauge will meter very slight boost.
