Weird test drive results

Test drove Nissan Versa 1.8SL Hatchback at 2 different dealer. First time, acceleration was smooth and ac was working fine. Ride was exceptional.

Next time, on a different car but same model, the ac was on 3 and whenever I'd step on the gas I'd hear a humming/moaning noise.

Does anyone know what this is all about?

I'm afraid that if the car I order has the same issue as in the first case then what are my options? should i ask the sales person to get me another car then?

not sure why it would hum or moan with the A/C on. Did you drive it without the A/C on to see what it was tied to? If the car has a problem when you receive it, don't take it home. Drive it when you pick it up and make sure it's exactly what you want.

Didn't hear the noise when ac was on 1 or 2. Only at 3, and whenever I'd accelerate that I'd hear the continuous hum as if something is straining..
