I do it all the time.... , even go to 11~12psi with it, but I'm squirting water. However my disc is a 7:1 and base fuel pressure is 35ish. Its not 'the safest' plan of action and I dont go telling people to do it. But as I stated in the fmu recal thread some people will/want/need to flex the rules.

I'm wanting to hit 15psi off a tiny turbo with nothing more than timing retard/walbro/fmu/water injection. Its a small t3. A local guy made 320 something at 12psi on walbro/fmu. I dont think he even retarded timing(really not safe over 8psi).

he has a cometic head gasket and thinks his timing needs to be set at 22 * his turbo is big i thought it is only safe to run that kind of boost on a t25 and your not even supposed to run stock injectors on anything bigger let alone 10psi but its working! im going to make sure his afrs are ok im gonna ride with him tonite also gonna try to figure out wat kinda turbo beast he has in there

10 psi compressed charge air from a T25 is going to be hotter then 10psi charge air from a T3 or T4 compressor.

The size of the turbo doesn't start to make a difference in flow/volume of air until you're running more then 12 psi. Bigger compressors move more air, but generally the differences in volume are minor in the lower boost levels.

The FMU isn't causing a lean condition.
