Well, I feel violated. Someone stole all 4 of my air valve caps that were on my tires/wheels. I just noticed it today and I don't really know how long they have been missing, but that just pisses me off. Who the hell would do such a thing, and why. I don't care about the money to replace them, its just the point that some thug out there actually went up to MY car and took the time to go around to all 4 of MY wheels, and unscrew each one of MY valve caps.

Fourtunatley I have gotten over it, but it seems SaRa (my car) is having a harder time dealing with it. She was feeling a little depressed all day, and then in what can only be described as an apparent suicide attempt, while I was driving down the road she decided to jam her throttle body in the WOT position in a effort to take her own life. Luckily I was able to shut her down, and then also shut down the turbo timer (which did not help the situation), before any damage was done.

Has anyone else had random stuff stolen from them. stuff that was not really worth anything, but just pissed you off because of the fact that it was stolen?

Has anyone else had their throttle body get stuck at WOT, and after shutting off there car while doing ~65mph, and then totally freak out for a brief milisecond until you realize that you have to shut off the turbo timer too?

the "thug" that stole your valve caps is some 5th grader weenie that deals "chromies" as they are affectionatly called. Why? there is no anser to that, only more questions. :D

someone I knew in elementary school asked if he could steal the chrome caps off my dad's Porsche wheels for his bike. I told him "no" and I should have added "you dolt!":rolleyes

I'm a big fan of the dents that don't scratch the paint but leave a nice ping in the body panels. I'm debating on whether to somehow fix them, or do my entire car with them, golfball style. and just say it's for aerodynamics.

I'm going to check all the kids bikes in my neighborhood. Like Ace Ventura checking for the stone that came from the '84 Dolphins AFC Campionship Ring

edit: Maybe it was Brian Spilner who is going around to find out what type of valve caps I'm gonna be running for RaceWarz

the LED caps. sooo gay, i have seen tons of cars with those around here. my mom had the valve caps that told how much pressure is in your wheels stolen. $20 caps, i think. pissed her off bad. and yeah, i remember all the 5th graders stealing them, and selling them for like $1.00 for their POS BMX style bikes. i took the ones off my olf truck cause they were chromies, still have them too. and i too get random dents in my car when its parked out front.

I'm so ashamed.... stealing chrome caps was all the rage when I was in middle school. You can check all the local kids bikes but if they were anything like me they have a whole stash of them. I still have a box of them in my parents house that I havent touched in years.

Hehe, I remember that. Going "chromie shopping." My biggest catch was offa BMW if I remember correctly. Oh well, that's why I keep the black ones on there.

That's why I have the 85&#162 black plastic "Autozone special" caps. People around here seem to steal stuff just because they can, no other reason. :(
