Weird story about my Zenki.

I was driving my car a few weeks ago and out of no where i couldnt shift into gears 1-4(it would only go in reverse & 5th).

I then get it towed to a shop For $75 & they tell me it will be over $1000 to find a transmission & install it for me.I said to he** with that so i decided to ask people i knew to help me & i also decided to buy my own transmission.My friend's brother is a mechanic so i asked him if i buy a transmission would he install it for me(i was an idiot for buying a transmission & not completely knowing what the problem was,which i still dont know just yet),he told me he would so a coulple days later i buy a used transmission for $450 & i get my Zenki towed back to my house(without anything getting done to it by the shop & they didnt even check the transmission in the first place...they just assumed the transmission was the problem becuase it wouldnt shift through gears 1-4) for another $75

I hop inside the car after it gets towed back to my house(becuase my friends brother was gonna install the transmission the next day).the next thing i know i could shift in all gears perfectly fine with no problems.I was driving the car around most of the day today.

If that aint weird then i dont know what is, but I am still going to get it checked out tomorrow to find out what the problem is.

well this have nothing to do with my 240, but i have something similar to it. My sister had spill some water(ok alot of water)on my mac book, and it wouldn't start at all. I let it dry till 2 days later so i can bring it to the apple store to see if there any solution. The tech cant do nothing about it but say it was water damage. They have to send it in to to see the cost and possibly fix. They want to rape me for 800 bucks after they received it. I said hell no send my s*** back. After 2 month of not touching it cause i was piss, i decided to to charge it up and see if it works. Next thing you know i am using it and typing this to you. So i guess some cases you can depend on a little luck. But still have you transmission check out man! Gook Luck

Man, I guess you lucked up to that's crazy yo & that's alot of money you saved that you didnt have to spend in the first place!but yea it's going to cost & arm & a leg to get it checked out the people that i know are to lazy to help me out that's why most of the time for major problems i just go to a shop.

I'd check the clutch. If it doesn't release completely you won't be able to shift. I can't explain why 5th and R were ok though.

Check and see if your slave is leaking this happened to my friends CA and he could only get the car into 3rd popped the hood low fluid hahaha filled it back up and changed out the slave no more problems.... maybe the shop topped off the fluids before they gave it back to you
