Hey guys, like it says in title im having a weird problem which started about yeasterday. Right now its completly stock, the problem is when driving at WOT full boost i notice now that its not going as fast as it should be going. Its like there is something resticting the car from going its full potential at WOT. If you have an sr i know you know what im talking about, even at stock form the sr pulls at WOT. This happens in every gear really noticable in 2nd gear, the RPM shoots up normal but the car is just not moving even when RPM is way up in the 6000's. If anyones got any input on this it would be great thax guys.

When you did the swap, did a new clutch or clutch kit get put in? sounds like its slipping as you hit peak torque.

are you sure that the rpms are rising like normal? if that is the case then maybe your turbo is going bad and not holding boost. but if the rpms are shooting up to where you sometimes feel like you are in nuetral then yes your clutch.

Well the rpm is going up maybe a little slower but, when i see the boost gauge it says its holding boost until i let go of the throttle. And i have been getting alot of replies about the clutch being trashed.

If your clutch is going bad it is very simple to tell. If you are driving, whenever you accelerate your rpm will rise faster than they normally would, almost as if you are in nuetral reving your engine a little.

seriously, who comes to a sr problem thread to say you have the wrong motor??

im gonna say clutch, but its really easy to tell. heres another way. go to a parking lot, and come to a stop. put it in second gear, pull the ebrake, and slowly engage the clutch (obviously giving it gas to keep from stalling). you are realisticallly slipping the clutch. what your looking for is it to slip excessivly, or to just hold and push against the ebrake. should give you a good indication. good luck.
