Weird sound when starting

I've noticed a weird squealing sound when I started my 02 QX4. Is it the fan belt? It usually only lasts for a few seconds (usually when I haven't started the car in awhile). Today it was going while I was accelerating 3k rpms. It took about 30-45 seconds to stop.

Any help appreciated!

when was the last time you replaced your belts in general? it could be the ac belt or the alternator belt. i dont think our cars have a fan belt, the fan uses a heat controlled clutch i think, i might be wrong.

I just got the car so it may not have been changed. I am thinking the problem is similar to:
