Ok well today when i tried to turn on my car, I guess I was too much in a hurry.
This is what happened:1. foot on brake2. press start/stop button3. Move Gear into "D" (drive)4. I notice the car was on "on", and it didnt start up.5. So i put it back in P (park)6. And turned the engine back on, and got it started.
Is this bad? lol. never happened to me before.
2nd question:paint. How much is it to repaint the altima coupe?

To repaint and do it right (strip out windows, paint door jams, inside trunk, engine bay, etc) $4,500.00. What color are you wanting to change from/to?
The other is no problem, don't worry about it, make sure you're started before going into drive.

well, i was interested in the Frost White. I have super black right now, and don't get me wrong, I love the color, all my previous cars have been black lol. But i'm starting to get slight "orange peels", and the black paint seems to hard to maintain, and the more i see White Altima's, the more I'm beginning to fall in love with the color; however, after seeing how much it'll cost I'll just slap myself back to the real world and give up lol.

Going from black to white would be among the most difficult things for a shop to do (it would require the most prep work to cover the black), but it could still be done....would probably cost a little more than, say, changing from black to grey, or light silver to white, etc.
And I totally understand the attraction to white! It's personally my favorite!

1)Maybe this is a dumb question...but whats an orange peel in relation to a paint job?
2)The black paint is so annoying to maintain, but in my eyes there is nothing better then a freshly waxed and washed black car. Pratically any car looks good if its black.

"Orange Peel" is the name given to the slight imperfection in the paints finish. Look into the reflection of a paints finish (dark colors is more noticable) and you will see a subtle rippling effect. It is a product of the clear coat as well as the underlying color coat. It is the lack of a perfectly smooth, flat finish to the paint.
If it was as smooth as glass, or like the surface of a mirror, there would be no Orange Peel effect. This is why paints are repeatedly sanded and buffed, to reduce Orange Peel to a minimum. You spend enough money, you can reduce it completely for a near perfect finish.
It one of the greatest challenges when you just get part of your car repainted, to match the existing Orange Peel, otherwise the finish doesnt match even though the color does. Black is the hardest color of all to do this with.
